The Stair Tread Tile Series uses a 470 x 1200 mm plank format to create a long, continuous wood-grain look across a floor. The series carries 13 item numbers on a porcelain body, and the listing recommends it for residential and commercial floors: living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, kitchens and dining areas, and selected commercial interiors such as cafes, boutiques and offices.
Each photograph below shows the actual tile, with the item number in the caption. That number is what you specify when you order a sample or request a project quote.
Why choose a 470 x 1200 mm wood-look tile?
Long, continuous grain. At 470 x 1200 mm (18.5" x 47.2"), the plank is longer than many wood-effect formats. Longer planks mean fewer joints interrupting the grain, so the wood pattern reads as continuous runs across the floor instead of repeating blocks.
A sparser grout grid. The 1200 mm length covers more floor per piece than shorter plank tiles, which keeps the grout grid sparse and the surface visually calmer.
Flexible laying direction. Like other plank tiles, it can be laid along the room or across it, and the direction changes how the grain draws the eye. Worth deciding before installation, because it shapes how the whole floor reads.
