Clay bricks bring a different kind of warmth to a space than glazed ceramic. Their colour comes from the clay body itself — terracotta, sandy beige, mixed natural stone — and the surface tends to feel more matte, more grounded. We took six clay brick products from our collection and photographed them in settings that show how each one works in a real room. Inside, outside, wet areas, dry walls — here is what we came up with.

1. Terracotta Mosaic — Courtyard Accent Wall

300x300mm terracotta mosaic tiles laid on an outdoor courtyard wall. The tumbled matte finish and warm red-brown tones work with whitewashed Mediterranean walls and dappled sunlight coming through a pergola. These mosaics have a handmade, slightly irregular edge that keeps the wall from looking too polished.

2. Long Clay Brick — Entryway Feature Wall

The longest brick in this set at 460x55mm, in a warm sandy beige clay. The narrow format and stone aggregate surface create strong horizontal lines across an entryway wall. Golden hour light brings out the natural colour variation between bricks — each one slightly different from the next.

3. Mesh-Mounted Clay Brick — Kitchen Backsplash

210x300mm mesh-mounted clay brick sheets as a kitchen backsplash. The mixed natural stone finish bridges warm oak cabinetry and a limestone countertop. Because they come pre-mounted on mesh sheets, installation is faster than laying individual bricks — a practical choice for a weekend kitchen refresh.

4. Mixed-Color Clay Brick — Living Room Media Wall

65x230mm mixed-colour clay bricks on a living room media wall. The palette moves from sandy beige to terracotta across the wall, giving it a natural, organic feel. A linen sofa and indoor plants soften the room without competing with the brick texture.

5. Warm Terracotta Clay Tile — Shower Accent Wall

65x230mm warm terracotta clay bricks as a shower accent wall. Natural daylight from a skylight keeps the terracotta from feeling heavy, and brushed gold fixtures and a teak bench add warmth without stealing focus from the tile. The matte surface is easy to maintain in a wet environment.

6. Trapezoidal Clay Brick — Cafe Feature Wall

63x200mm trapezoidal clay bricks in natural sandy beige on a cafe feature wall. The trapezoidal shape creates a subtle 3D shadow line that changes with the light. Architectural spot lighting and dark wood shelving with ceramic displays turn the wall into a backdrop that feels intentional rather than decorative.
